Strong architectural medallions anchor this early 20th century Northwest Persian runner, woven in the Hamadan region. Repeating stepped hexagons create rhythm and movement, while jewel-toned accents of emerald, saffron, and soft teal glow against a grounded terracotta and walnut field.
The crisp ivory border frames the composition beautifully, adding contrast and definition. Its elongated scale and graphic presence make it ideal for hallways, kitchens, entry corridors, or layered behind furniture.
There is both strength and artistry here — bold geometry softened by village charm.

When dealing with antique and vintage rugs it is very common to see color & size variations, signs of wear, repairs, etc. I photograph using natural light only. I do not retouch or otherwise manipulate images of rugs. Prices are very competitive because the rugs are not professionally cleaned. Every rug is however vacuumed two times front and back.
