A beautifully aged vintage Persian runner, hand-knotted in northwest Iran and dating approximately to the mid-20th century.
Three large geometric medallions run the length of a faded salmon-rose field, each framed by stepped angular forms and smaller geometric devices. A wide ivory border filled with hooked and floral motifs adds contrast, while a dark outer border of repeating rosettes gives the composition a strong architectural frame.
The softened palette of salmon, dusty rose, ivory, sage, burgundy, and pale blue-green gives this piece a quiet, collected character.
