An unusual vintage Baluch rug, hand-knotted in the weaving region spanning western Afghanistan and eastern Iran, dating approximately to the mid-20th century.

A warm saffron-camel field is arranged with rows of slender stylized trees surrounding three larger vessel-like botanical motifs along the central axis. Smaller geometric devices punctuate the composition, while narrow borders in deep red, charcoal, rust and muted green frame the field.

The strong geometry and simplified plant forms give the rug a distinctly folk-woven character, while its golden ground makes the traditionally dark Baluch palette feel especially warm and graphic.
