Vintage Red Framework Runner 3’3 x 10

A striking vintage Persian runner, hand-knotted in western Iran and dating approximately to the mid-20th century.

Five stepped geometric medallions are arranged down a saturated red field, each framed by angular ivory, navy and camel detailing. Serrated geometric motifs and small hooked devices fill the surrounding space, while multiple narrow borders reinforce the rug’s strong architectural rhythm.

The bold symmetry is balanced by subtle irregularities in the drawing and color that reflect its village-woven construction.
