A striking Northwest Persian village composition anchored in saturated brick crimson and deep indigo medallions. Strong stepped geometry defines the center column, outlined in forest green and charcoal for sharp architectural contrast.
The border is richly patterned with rhythmic florals and tribal motifs, adding movement and visual weight to the piece. Subtle abrash and tonal variation throughout the field give depth and authenticity.
Dense, hand-knotted wool pile with beautiful texture and structure. Substantial underfoot with natural age compression consistent with mid-century village weaving.

When dealing with antique and vintage rugs it is very common to see color & size variations, signs of wear, repairs, etc. I photograph using natural light only. I do not retouch or otherwise manipulate images of rugs. Prices are very competitive because the rugs are not professionally cleaned. Every rug is however vacuumed two times front and back.
