Meet a beautifully preserved mid-century Persian Kerman, woven in the 1950s–1970s with the fine workshop wool Kerman is known for. This piece features an elegant ivory field filled with scrolling florals, soft blush roses, painterly blues, and mossy greens—all wrapped in a rose-bordered frame that feels romantic, graceful, and timeless.
The central medallion blooms outward into a garden of intricate motifs, each drawn with the curvilinear precision characteristic of classic Kerman weaving. The wool is exceptionally soft with a gentle sheen, giving this piece that signature “Kerman glow” that makes it look almost new despite its mid-century age.
At 3’7 x 5’2, it’s the perfect size for an entryway, bedroom, vanity… a layering moment. Atruly charming heirloom in excellent condition with full, plush pile and original fringe.

When dealing with antique and vintage rugs it is very common to see color & size variations, signs of wear, repairs, etc. I photograph using natural light only. I do not retouch or otherwise manipulate images of rugs. Prices are very competitive because the rugs are not professionally cleaned. Every rug is however vacuumed two times front and back.
