Hand-knotted in Pakistan circa the 1970–1980, this vintage Jaldar Bokhara rug showcases one of the most recognizable geometric weaving traditions inspired by historic Turkmen textiles. A deep navy field is anchored by repeating octagonal guls linked in elegant vertical rows, framed by finely detailed ivory borders woven with remarkable precision.
Crafted from hand-spun wool on a cotton foundation, this piece features a dense, even weave and exceptional symmetry—hallmarks of high-quality Pakistani workshop weaving from the late 20th century. Its tailored geometry and classic palette of navy, ivory, and madder red bring warmth and structure to both traditional and contemporary interiors.
Perfect beside a bed, beneath a coffee table, or layered into a library, office, or collected living space, this rug offers timeless craftsmanship with enduring versatility.
