A stunning hand-knotted Persian Karaja runner from the Heriz region of northwest Iran — where mountain-village weavers have perfected the art of bold geometry and enduring color.
This piece features a deep midnight-navy field anchored by a series of triple hooked medallions in coral, rose, and soft turquoise, framed by a lively border of stylized floral motifs.
Woven in durable village wool on a cotton foundation, its medium-dense pile and luminous sheen speak to decades of natural wear and care.
Each tone — from the inky ground to the faded terracotta — tells its own story of time and handcraft.
Perfect for an entryway, kitchen, or hallway that calls for character and quiet vibrancy.
One-of-a-kind. No restocks.

Please note: These rugs are old and have lived a long life. When dealing with antique and vintage rugs it is very common to see color & size variations, signs of wear, repairs, etc. I photograph using natural light only. I do not retouch or otherwise manipulate images of rugs. Prices are very competitive because the rugs are not professionally cleaned. Every rug is however vacuumed two times front and back.
