This striking Kurdish tribal runner carries a bold architectural presence, anchored by rhythmic geometric medallions and intricate border work that reflects the storytelling tradition of village weaving. Saturated brick red fields are balanced by deep navy and walnut tones, while subtle teal and saffron accents add dimension and movement throughout the design.

Hand-knotted from wool on a wool foundation, the rug offers a soft yet durable pile with beautiful natural dye variation that creates depth and tonal richness across the surface.

The elongated proportions make it an exceptional choice for hallways, kitchens, entry corridors, or layered styling in collected, character-driven interiors.

With its strong symmetry and grounded palette, this piece bridges traditional tribal craftsmanship with a timeless, versatile aesthetic suited for both historic and modern

When dealing with antique and vintage rugs it is very common to see color & size variations, signs of wear, repairs, etc. I photograph using natural light only. I do not retouch or otherwise manipulate images of rugs. Prices are very competitive because the rugs are not professionally cleaned. Every rug is however vacuumed two times front and back.
