Hand-knotted by Qashqai nomads of southwest Iran, c. 1940–60. A bold hexagonal medallion floats in a madder-red field scattered with boteh, latch-hooks, and tiny tribal rosettes — protective and life-giving symbols in Qashqai weaving.
The palette moves from deep brick and salmon to navy and soft gold, with gentle abrash that signals vegetable-dyed, small-batch wool. Framed by a navy vine-and-diamond border, this piece reads both authentic and modern.
Versatile size for a hallway, kitchen runner, entry, or layered under a console.

Please note: These rugs are old and have lived a long life. When dealing with antique and vintage rugs it is very common to see color & size variations, signs of wear, repairs, etc. I photograph using natural light only. I do not retouch or otherwise manipulate images of rugs. Prices are very competitive because the rugs are not professionally cleaned. Every rug is however vacuumed two times front and back.
