This vintage Persian Hamadan runner features an all-over geometric field woven in warm terracotta, camel, and saffron tones, balanced by turquoise and soft sky-blue accents that bring depth and movement to the design. Hand-knotted in western Iran in the mid-20th century, it reflects the expressive character of village weaving — personal, rhythmic, and made for everyday life.
The wool has aged beautifully, resulting in an exceptionally soft, cushioned surface with a relaxed drape and gentle patina. The pile feels broken-in and inviting rather than stiff, making this runner especially well-suited for high-use spaces where comfort matters.

When dealing with antique and vintage rugs it is very common to see color & size variations, signs of wear, repairs, etc. I photograph using natural light only. I do not retouch or otherwise manipulate images of rugs. Prices are very competitive because the rugs are not professionally cleaned. Every rug is however vacuumed two times front and back.
