A compact vintage Persian village runner with a striking series of stacked geometric medallions set against deep chocolate, garnet red, warm ivory, forest green and touches of soft aqua. The design is highly graphic but still richly detailed, with small geometric and floral motifs woven throughout the field and border.

Its narrow 2’1” width makes it especially useful for tight hallways, kitchens, bedside placement or layered spaces where a traditional runner can feel too wide. Hand-knotted wool with a substantial vintage pile and beautifully saturated color.

Origin: Northwest Persia / Iran, likely Hamadan-Kurdish region

Circa: 1950s–1970s

Size: 2’1” × 6’6”

Colors: garnet, oxblood, chocolate brown, warm ivory, forest green, muted aqua, dusty coral

Condition: Very good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear and variation. Fringe and edges show the natural irregularity expected of a hand-knotted village rug.

Pile: Medium wool pile

When dealing with antique and vintage rugs it is very common to see color & size variations, signs of wear, repairs, etc. I photograph using natural light only.
