A striking mid-20th century Anatolian village runner circa 1945-1965, hand-knotted in wool with bold geometric presence. A series of stepped diamond medallions anchor the emerald-green ground, their jagged outlines in crimson and ivory radiating energy and protection. Stylized latch-hooks, blossoms, and amulet motifs punctuate the field, speaking to centuries of Anatolian weaving tradition.
The palette glows with jewel tones: emerald green, deep crimson, ivory, and soft charcoal. The natural abrash shifts across the field like light moving over stone, adding depth and authenticity. Very thick pile and secure edges.

Please note: These rugs are old and have lived a long life. When dealing with antique and vintage rugs it is very common to see color & size variations, signs of wear, repairs, etc. I photograph using natural light only. I do not retouch or otherwise manipulate images of rugs. Prices are very competitive because the rugs are not professionally cleaned. Every rug is however vacuumed two times front and back.
