Woven nearly a century ago in northeastern Persia, the Desert Bloom Baluch captures the earthy rhythm of tribal weaving at its finest.
Repeating boteh (flame) motifs in soft rose, camel, and ink-black create a hypnotic pattern that feels both ancient and modern. Muted pinks fade to coral, grounded by natural camel wool like sun-warmed earth.
Rich, lanolin-filled wool gives this piece its natural sheen and supple hand — a hallmark of early 20th-century Baluch craftsmanship. Subtle abrash moves through the field, lending painterly depth and soul. Ideal for hallways, entries, or layered interiors that crave warmth and history

Please note: These rugs are old and have lived a long life. When dealing with antique and vintage rugs it is very common to see color & size variations, signs of wear, repairs, etc. I photograph using natural light only. I do not retouch or otherwise manipulate images of rugs. Prices are very competitive because the rugs are not professionally cleaned. Every rug is however vacuumed two times front and back.
