A beautifully timeworn Anatolian runner, hand-knotted in wool and dating to the mid-20th century (circa 1960s–1970s).
The field carries a deep, moody ground of cocoa and charcoal tones, softened over time and layered with washed terracotta and ember-pink accents that subtly emerge throughout the design. The traditional prayer-inspired layout is still present, though gently blurred by age—giving the piece a tonal, almost painterly quality.
The pile has worn down evenly across the surface, creating a low, velvety texture and a lived-in feel that adds depth without heaviness.
