A beautifully aged early 20th century Persian Malayer runner featuring a sequence of soft geometric floral medallions set against a rich wine-red field. Woven in Western Iran using hand-spun wool on a cotton foundation, this piece showcases the romantic village aesthetic that bridges bold tribal design with traditional Persian elegance.
Subtle abrash, gentle patina, and layered earth tones give this rug a timeless softness that works effortlessly in both traditional and modern homes. The scale and palette make it ideal for a hallway, kitchen, or layered living space.

Please note: These rugs are old and have lived a long life. When dealing with antique and vintage rugs it is very common to see color & size variations, signs of wear, repairs, etc. I photograph using natural light only. I do not retouch or otherwise manipulate images of rugs. Prices are very competitive because the rugs are not professionally cleaned. Every rug is however vacuumed two times front and back.
