Hand-knotted c. 1930–50 by Ersari Turkmen weavers along the Afghan–Turkmen border, this soulful runner blends a prayer-panel layout — long striped mihrabs rising upward — with stacked diamond medallions and stepped ashik motifs.
The palette glows with burgundy, madder, teal, and apricot on a plum ground, enriched by natural abrash that only hand-dyed wool can give.
Long and graphic, this piece works beautifully in a hallway, layered in a living room, or displayed as textural art

When dealing with antique and vintage rugs it is very common to see color & size variations, signs of wear, repairs, etc. I photograph using natural light only.
