Hand-knotted c. 1930–50 by Ersari Turkmen weavers along the Afghan–Turkmen border, this soulful runner blends a prayer-panel layout — long striped mihrabs rising upward — with stacked diamond medallions and stepped ashik motifs.
The palette glows with burgundy, madder, teal, and apricot on a plum ground, enriched by natural abrash that only hand-dyed wool can give.
Long and graphic, this piece works beautifully in a hallway, layered in a living room, or displayed as textural art

Please note: These rugs are old and have lived a long life. When dealing with antique and vintage rugs it is very common to see color & size variations, signs of wear, repairs, etc. I photograph using natural light only. I do not retouch or otherwise manipulate images of rugs. Prices are very competitive because the rugs are not professionally cleaned. Every rug is however vacuumed two times front and back.
