Vintage Brown leaf Relic 4’ x 6’ Circa 1960s–1970s

This handwoven vintage tribal rug dates to approximately the mid-20th century (circa 1960s–1970s) and features a striking, symmetrical central medallion framed by layered geometric borders. The palette is rich and earthy—brick red, oxblood, cocoa brown, indigo, and warm ivory—giving it a grounded, timeless presence that works beautifully in both traditional and modern interiors.

Woven from 100% natural wool on a wool foundation, this piece has a low, thin pile that reflects its age and craftsmanship—soft yet visually crisp, with gentle wear that adds character and authenticity. The reverse shows classic horizontal striping, a hallmark of traditional tribal weaving.

Because of its thin pile and flexible handle, this rug lays nicely but will benefit from added grip and cushioning.
