This hand-knotted wool rug features a warm apricot-peach field centered by an ornate floral medallion, with scattered botanical sprays and softly articulated corner details. Deep espresso brown, charcoal, cream, faded rose and small flashes of turquoise create strong contrast without making the palette feel heavy. Multiple floral borders frame the field and give the rug a tailored, finished appearance.

The finely drawn floral composition, cotton foundation and softly lustrous wool are most consistent with a Persian Kerman-style rug, likely woven in Iran during the mid-to-late 20th century. Kerman rugs are particularly associated with finely rendered floral medallions, delicate vine work and nuanced shades of pink, salmon and peach.
