Hand-knotted mid-century Anatolian Kars runner with a rare twin-panel (çift yolluk) field. Two vertical lanes of tiny shrub/arrow motifs and eight-point stars march down a sun-washed camel/ochre ground, framed by berry-russet borders. Natural-dye abrash moves from tea, sand and umber to hints of celadon and sage—easy, earthy neutrals that play beautifully with light woods and stone. Wool pile on wool foundation; even low pile with age-softened highs and lows; ends and selvedges sound.
Why it’s special
• Twin-panel layout: most village runners are single-panel or all-over repeats—this mirrored two-lane format was woven in far smaller numbers.
• Star & arrow iconography: protective symbols scattered in a rhythmic, minimalist way that feels modern.
• Tea-washed palette: sought-after camel and tobacco tones with gentle abrash that only time can produce.
Styling
Perfect for an entry, kitchen galley, or bedside; pairs especially well with oak, travertine, limestone, and warm whites.

Please note: These rugs are old and have lived a long life. When dealing with antique and vintage rugs it is very common to see color & size variations, signs of wear, repairs, etc. I photograph using natural light only. I do not retouch or otherwise manipulate images of rugs. Prices are very competitive because the rugs are not professionally cleaned. Every rug is however vacuumed two times front and back.
