A richly detailed heirloom that feels like stepping into a preserved textile garden, Vintage Garden Archive showcases a beautifully balanced medallion composition framed by intricate botanical and geometric borders. The warm rose field is softened by ivory corner spandrels and grounded by deep espresso and inky navy detailing, creating a piece that reads both romantic and architectural.
Hand-knotted using wool, this rug displays the natural tonal variation (abrash) and patina that collectors seek. The palette carries layered notes of antique rose, aged ivory, oxblood, forest olive, and midnight blue . The colors that shift subtly depending on light and surrounding decor.
The motif structure reflects traditional village weaving, blending stylized florals with protective tribal elements, a hallmark of Northwest Persian design traditions.

When dealing with antique and vintage rugs it is very common to see color & size variations, signs of wear, repairs, etc. I photograph using natural light only. I do not retouch or otherwise manipulate images of rugs. Prices are very competitive because the rugs are not professionally cleaned. Every rug is however vacuumed two times front and back.
