Tea Leaf & Celadon Medallion oushak 9’ x 11’6

Hand-knotted in Western Anatolia, this vintage Oushak features a faded tobacco field framed by sage/evergreen corners and an ivory lacework medallion. Scrolling palmettes and arabesques flow into a wide, ornamental border, giving the piece that elegant, old-world look without heavy contrast. Pile is low and velvety from age (even wear), with beautiful abrash (natural tone variation) that adds movement and depth.
