Handwoven over a century ago in the Malayer region of northwestern Persia, this Rosewood Bloom rug carries the warm, romantic glow of time. Its field of madder rose and indigo blossoms reveals the artistry of early 20th-century village weaving… each petal defined by hand-spun wool, each hue drawn from natural earth pigments.

The palette moves gracefully between rose, walnut, ochre, and midnight blue, with subtle abrash that adds dimension and soul. The wool retains its lanolin sheen, lending the surface a quiet, natural luster under changing light.

Equally suited to modern and traditional spaces, this piece embodies what collectors call “lived-in elegance” handmade utility transformed into heirloom art.

Please note: These rugs are old and have lived a long life. When dealing with antique and vintage rugs it is very common to see color & size variations, signs of wear, repairs, etc. I photograph using natural light only. I do not retouch or otherwise manipulate images of rugs. Prices are very competitive because the rugs are not professionally cleaned. Every rug is however vacuumed two times front and back.
