A rare and beautifully detailed pictorial Persian mini rug, featuring a lively hunting scene with two stylized deer/ibex figures set among branching trees and floral motifs. Woven in Northwest Iran, likely in a small Hamadan- or Kurdish-region workshop, this piece reflects the region’s tradition of storytelling through rug design.
The wool pile is soft and dense, with a rich palette of tomato red, mustard gold, ivory, deep indigo, and sky blue, all grounded by a delicate floral border. These miniature pictorial pieces were woven as decorative art textiles; small, symbolic, and full of character.
Perfect for styling on:
• shelves + consoles
• layered displays
• tabletop vignettes
• holiday or seasonal décor
• gallery walls
A tiny heirloom with huge charm and collector appeal.

When dealing with antique and vintage rugs it is very common to see color & size variations, signs of wear, repairs, etc. I photograph using natural light only. I do not retouch or otherwise manipulate images of rugs. Prices are very competitive because the rugs are not professionally cleaned. Every rug is however vacuumed two times front and back.
