Hand-knotted Northwest Persian (Malayer/Kurdish) village runner, c. 1940s–1960s, wool pile . An allover Mina-Khani (“meadow flowers”) lattice blooms across a madder-red field, framed by a navy border with small rosettes and latch-hook details. Touches of teal, sky, camel, and butter enliven the pattern, while natural abrash (those gentle tonal shifts) and a time-softened, tea-wash patina toward one end give it that true-vintage character you can’t fake.
Condition: even low/medium pile; age-appropriate wear; secure ends/edges; lies flat.
Style notes: a long, graceful line for hallways, kitchens, and entries—pairs beautifully with stone, oak, and painted floors

Please note: These rugs are old and have lived a long life. When dealing with antique and vintage rugs it is very common to see color & size variations, signs of wear, repairs, etc. I photograph using natural light only. I do not retouch or otherwise manipulate images of rugs. Prices are very competitive because the rugs are not professionally cleaned. Every rug is however vacuumed two times front and back.
